The challenge for this upscale West Vancouver Private residencE was to select all high-end material while keeping the whole renovation under the budget of $200,000.00. We had to come-up with creative solutions, to keep the project within the budget. Some examples for cost efficient solutions include:
Since the client was an are collector, we had to specify walls to showcase their collection. The half oval shape of the entertainment room made it extremely difficult for furniture arrangement and composition. In order to solve this problem, we had to create a focus point to take the attention away from the shape of the room. We did so by placing the piano opposite TO the point of entry and selected a different wallpaper to put more visual weight onto the opposing wall.
